Good reading!

Just a quick little post before we head into the weekend!

One of my favorite blogs to read is Good Bones, Great Pieces. You do know who they are right? I most enjoy seeing their awesome finds from antique and thrift shops. Those girls have a great eye for style!

Anyways, this mother-daughter team wrote a book about furniture that I had wanted to get my hands on since it was first published. My wish came true when my very sweet sister gifted me the book for Christmas!

I've since read it from cover to cover (maybe more then once!) and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to make the best choices when furnishing their home.

It's packed full of advice for anyone who's setting up their home and doesn't know where to start when buying or arranging furniture, or maybe needs fresh ideas for using pieces they may already have. Not only that but the pictures and renderings are beautiful, and the book is pretty enough for your coffee table. Seriously, it's a must read!

If you don't have a copy, go get one! You'll be happy you did! You can find the book at any major bookstore, or on One Kings Lane has them on sale right now for $20.00! If you don't have a OKL account, you can sign up with your email HERE.

Any other decorating books you have and love? I'd love to hear! Have a great weekend!

  1. I'll have to add this one to my list. My sweet sister gave me the new Nate Burkus book for Christmas this year. Have to say that it wasn't what I expected, but I still enjoyed it.

  2. I don't have that one yet but I am obsessed with collecting pretty decor books! My favorite still is the classic Domino:)

I love hearing from you!
